CHIGI44® EXTENSIBLE is designed to oxygenate large volumes of water and large surface areas. The system is suitable for fast, effective, low-cost clean-up operations, which would be impossible with conventional systems. CHIGI44® gets to places other systems cannot reach, working without machines and without energy, with the aid of pure oxygen alone. In the event of hydrocarbon pollution, CHIGI44® can float pollutants quickly and effectively using just air, for easy subsequent removal. Absolutely essential for oxygenating deep bodies of water.
CHIGI44® EXTENSIBLE has a setup suitable for oxygenating wastewater and for revitalising all bodies of water which, for any reason, have become or are becoming anoxic.
As shown by the figures in the technical datasheet, once closed CHIGI44® EXTENSIBLE occupies very little space. It is very easy to extend, deploying a large delivery surface. It can be used with air or pure oxygen.
With approximately 1200 euros worth of oxygen (around 10,000 kg) and without using machinery or power, CHIGI44® EXTENSIBLE can add 2.5 mg/litre of oxygen to 4,000,000 cubic metres of water with depths in excess of 30 metres. It is therefore highly recommended for lakes or rivers in need of revitalisation, especially close to municipal or industrial wastewater outlets.
CHIGI44® EXTENSIBLE is also extremely useful in all pollutant spill clean-up operations. The large emission surface and the capability to generate flotation of semisolid and solid pollutants speed up and facilitate the collection procedure.
