Conventional technologies used for treating civil and industrial wastewater suffer from serious usage restrictions and high installation and operating costs. The elastomer membranes used in conventional plants produce large bubbles and require large volumes of air to achieve even reasonable efficiency. This has inevitably led to the adoption of machines that can supply the quantities of air needed without consuming too much energy, known as “blowers”. This solution, however, can only be employed with very limited water heads and has led to vary expensive, complex air supply systems, with large pipes anchored to the bottom of the water body, requiring high levels of maintenance and frequent stoppages.

The CHIGI44® system is a complete game-changer. More efficient and flexible than conventional systems, CHIGI44® is also quick to install, requires minimal maintenance without the need to interrupt cycles, is totally environment-friendly and can operate on solar and wind power alone. All this at much lower costs.
